Understanding Patient Need Groups
You may notice a test result or message on your NHS App referring to Patient Need Groups. This is part of our ongoing work to improve continuity of care.
Patient need groups are simply a way for us to categorise patients based on their individual health needs. This helps us make sure that every patient receives the most appropriate support and care from the right member of our clinical team.
If you see a message about this, please don’t worry - it’s for our internal systems only. It doesn’t require any action from you and is absolutely nothing to be concerned about.
