DR KAREN POTTERTON MBBS. BSc(Clinical and associated sciences) London 1992 MRCGP.
Following graduation from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, I trained for General Practice in the Maidstone GP training scheme. I was almost lured away to a career in psychiatry, but decided I was a generalist at heart. I joined the practice in 1997 and my daughter was born 3 years later. Since then I have had my work cut out to balance the demands of full time partnership with spending as much time as possible with my daughter and husband. I also love to garden - when I have the time!
DR VANESSA WHILLIER MB BS BSc FRCGP
I qualified from Guy's Hospital, London in 1995.I joined the practice in 2001 having grown up in the area. I became a GP Trainerin 2003, and completed my Fellowship by Assessment in 2006 to become a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. My husband works in London in Investor Relations and I have a son and a daughter.
DR JOHN BURKE MA MB BCh MRCGP studied at Cambridge and Oxford Universities qualifying in 1999.
He lives in Tunbridge Wells with his wife and children.
DR SISSY FRANK BA MD(USA) MRCGP
I moved to England in 2001 after graduating from Harvard University Medical School and completing my training in paediatric medicine at Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. My husband is British, and the lure of a position at the London School of Economics, and a plate of authentic fish and chips, was too much for him to resist. Since moving to England I have re-trained to become a general practioner. I supplement my working life by dabbling in the care of my three young children. I speak English, American and someGerman.
