• Immunisation & Travel Health (including Yellow Fever)

• Health Centre Nursing Care (eg cervical smears, leg ulcer dressing, wound care, ear syringing etc).

FOOT HEALTH

For patients with diabetes, poor foot/Leg circulation, ingrowing toenails, biomechanical problems or on ancoagulationl steroids. Access to this service is by nurse or doctor referral. Telephone number:0 1892 839439

COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSES/COUNSELLOR/PSYCHOLOGIST

Help with mental health, including management of stress, alcohol problems etc. Access to these services is by referral only.

DENTAL CARE

DISTRICT NURSING

LONG TERM HEALTH CARE

Including monitoring of Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Asthma and Heart Disease.

HEALTH VISITORS

Health education for all ages, child health screening and family health screening. Telephone number: 01892 839439  

MIDWIFERY

Shared maternity care Relaxation classes and parent craft classes with the health visitors and midwives. Times announced on the notice board. Telephone number: 01892 839439  

FEES FOR NON NHS WORK

Patients sometimes require services not covered by the NHS. Examples are: reports and examinations for school, insurances, employment, private medical care, sport, travel etc. There are recommended charges for this non-NHS work and a list is displayed in the waiting area.  

Test Results

Please call between 11am and 3.30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
